Why do my cat's eyes look like this?

Since last week, I've noticed that my cat's eyes started to look like this:

Is there anything wrong? Why do my cat's eyes look like this?
Sometimes if the third eyelids are present, it can indicate a fever. If she is sneezing too, I would suspect an upper respiratory virus. Sometimes the virus can lead to an infection (fever, green goopy eyes/nose) and the vet may want to prescribe antibiotics (usually Calavamox Drops). Antibiotics should only be used if there is an infection. If there is clear discharge in the eyes and nose, and there is no fever..the body will take care of the problem..no need for medication.

Sometimes the third eyelids can be present without any fever. Younger cats can sometimes have that happen, and they will be present for several weeks, then it will just resolve itself. Ya got to love cats! such odd stuff can pop up. Just make an appointment w/ the vet..they will examine...make sure lungs are clear, and check for signs of an infection/fever. If all is well, then you have your answer and you will not need to worry. Good luck!!!Why do my cat's eyes look like this?
it looks like wen i had condutiveitous (eye ifection) but for cats, because im sure they could get it easier than me because they dont have any eye lases to help keep out dirt and things. If it is something like that u pro will just have to give him/her eye drops and would be gon...but ask vet.

oh p.s my 2 cats seenzes all the time and some times even have sneezin fits of about 10 in a row, not dangerous all mine r fine, maythey get hayfifer or are alergic to something..possible.
You're cat is most likely going blind. There is no surgery that can be done to cure their blindness, but just to treat it from infection. Your best bet is to get it to a veterinary hospital as soon as possible for the best results.
My cat's did that once, too. I guess it's their second eyelid. My vet said that it meant that either his eyes were irritated by something, or that he was sick. Either way it's not good! To the cat doctor he goes...
When their eyes get like that then that means they are sick. I -think- I read that somewhere. You better get that checked out, soon.
it is a sign that something is wrong with them. you need to seek vet attention soon for your kitty

good luck
