What makes the eyes of some animals twinkle and look like silver?

Some animals that hunt in the dark appear to have eyes that twinkle. This twinkling is caused by a substance that coats the retina and looks like silver. What's this substance called?

It's either

Retinalis

Reflectorus

Agnesis

Tapetum

Thanks ^.^What makes the eyes of some animals twinkle and look like silver?
Cats, like dogs and many other animals, have a tapetum lucidum, which is a reflective layer behind the retina that reflects light that passes through the retina back into the eye. What makes the eyes of some animals twinkle and look like silver?
tapetum
Just a question. Are you doing a Primary Research Challenge? lol... Thanks for the answer anyway. :)
